Recipe dog ice cream: peanut butter with banana
Summer just started, the weather will be hot during the next months. Not only humans but also animals find the hot temperatures sometimes annoying. Plenty of fresh water and a shaded area for your dog are obviously essential. We usually seek for refreshment by eating an ice cream, but do not give these ice creams to your dog! Usually there is a huge amount of sugar in those ice creams and of course that is not a good idea for your pet. But did you know that you can make dog ice creams yourself for your four-legged furball?
What do you need?
- 500 ml non-fat yogurt
- 100 gram peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Dog cookies
- 1 banana - Plastic or paper cups
Just blend!
Put the yogurt, peanut butter, banana and the honey in a bowl. Then mix the ingredients with a mixer / by hand to a smooth mixture. After the mixture is ready, pour it into the cups. To finish, insert a dog biscuit as a stick, so you can hold it well afterwards. I prefer to break the biscuits in two parts. Put the cups in the freezer and let stand overnight. The result: A delicious and refreshing dog ice cream! This is Dré'ke's absolute favorite! (Do not forget to remove the cup when you give it to your dog!)

Of course, you can release your creativity when making dog ice creams. In this way you can experiment with ingredients and adapt it to what your dog likes. Please note that you do not use products that are poisonous for your dog!
