Go for natural, animal-free and durable
Food, one of Dré'kes greatest loves. Meanwhile this adventure Dré'ke has become an expert in testing dog food and dog treats for you guys. Luckily, he still has that bikini model figure, haha. You would expect something else after eating all that delicious food! A few months ago we received a nice package from Yarrah, a company located in the Netherlands.
Yarrah is the only company in the Netherlands that produces animal food with a complete range of organic products. In addition, they were also the first company who took this initiative. Since 1992, Yarrah only works with chickens, cattle and turkeys who have had a better life. Meat of abused animals or mass production are prohibited at Yarrah! So paws up for natural, animal-free and durable food!
Tins and cups
We will start with Drékes festive Sunday dinner: a big bowl filled with wet food! Because Drékes stomach is very sensitive, he only gets wet food on Sundays. Throughout the week he gets kibbles specially made for his breed. From Yarrah, we received some tins and cups. Dré'ke tried out all different flavors (chicken, turkey and beef) and let's say Dré'ke absolutely a fan of chicken! These different flavors are made in different varieties of wet food: chunks (creamy pieces of meat), pate and the vegan version. We prefer to use chunks, just because it's easier to mix with the rice. But Dré'ke is a fan of all the varieties, no surprise haha.
Beef-a-licious
Now onto the best part of the package: TREATS! Dré'ke has already eaten all these snacks, so we can be sure he is a big fan of Yarrah treats! First things first: small chew sticks with a beef flavor. Sounds delicious right? They just look like long small rolls and feel very soft. Each package contains 3 chewsticks. The snacks do not contain artificial additives and are packaged in airtight foil bags. Every time we open a little bag, Dré'ke is already behind the door, waiting for his beefroll!
Poor chicken
The second kind of snacks we received are bio organic dried chicken necks. Yes we know, sounds horrible. You must be thinking: poor chicken... But it's better this way, so there's no waste. Also, you don't even notice that it are chicken necks. The snack has an abrasive effect on your dog's teeth, it removes the dental plaque from their teeth. Dré'ke ABSOLUTELY loves it! While he eats you hear a sort of crackling sound and you really see that Dré'ke is enjoying his snack. Small tip: break the snack it into pieces.
Mini bites
When we go hiking or taking pictures, we always need small snacks to train Dré'ke on the go. That's why these Bio Mini Bites from Yarrah are so handy! It are small hard balls, squares, rectangles... whatever shape they are, made of 97% meat. Dré'ke is really crazy about them and he knows exactly where the candies are hidden. Therefore he's really excited to go for a walk!
Multi biscuits
To finish this mouth watering blogpost, we still got some dog biscuits in petto! Not just regular dog biscuits but vegetarian dog biscuits! Perfect for Dré'kes sensitive stomach because the composition of these snacks reduces the risk of allergies and digestive problems. The vegan dog cookies are suitable for any type of dog. We like to break them and put them in a treat ball so he can have fun for hours!
