Let's Smoofl up!

Smoofl- what?

We (Chia & Steven) love cooking together. Okay we have to admit it, Steven almost cooks everything and Chia eats everything. Hahaha, a little bit the world upside down. You may have seen our blog post about making your own dog ice creams. We liked it so much that we definitely wanted to cook something new for Dré'ke! We discovered Smoofl a while ago on Instagram, an original company based in our little Belgium.

Smoofl is definitely a hit in the market because they bring a concept that is fun and unique ! What are their key ingredients? Using dog friendly veggies and try different baking techniques to start up a company! Also, the name is quite unique! They've used a Belgian dialect to create the name "Smoofl". Smoofl is inspired by the verb "smoefelen" which means "enjoying what you eat". We absolutely love this because we also use some dialect!

Let's bake!

First of all we received 4 boxes of delicious Smoofl-cookies! Deer, buffalo, beef and fish. It are really small oven baked dog treats in the shape of a bone, star or a cookie. Dré'ke already tried the deer treats and he's really fond about them! Every time we walk by Dré'kes cookie-box we give him a little Smoofl treat, haha. It's so small and easy to give, he gets it as a little reward during the day. We'll keep you updated about their other flavors through Instagram!

Besides the cookies, we also received some cooking baking mixes to make cookies for Dré'ke ourselves! Like really, how cool is that? Just add a little bit of water, knead everything together, make the cookie into a shape you prefer and put them in the oven and ready! Smoofl offers 2 different kind of baking mix flavors: the classic one and a tropical delight version. We tried the tropical version because we were really curious about the color and smell. Yeps, and as we thought, the cookies were already eaten within 3 days. Watch our making-of video below, we had so much fun making these!

Now for the holidays Smoofl has released a limited edition:

turkey flavor treats in the shape of a Christmas tree!

Just to give your fluffball that little bit extra Christmassy feeling during these cozy days. But of course, you can also make your own party cookies with their baking mixes!

Enjoy baking!
